Salem SUMPer Camp is a program whose purpose is to offer children an opportunity for age-appropriate fun and Christian fellowship with on-site activities.  We provide a safe, structured, Christian environment and will include a daily Bible lesson.  This camp experience is open to all children CURRENTLY attending S.U.M.P.

Program Details:

Outdoor Activities – The children will gain knowledge in proper sportsmanship, conduct and teamwork.  Activities may include soccer, relay races, hula hoop, jump rope, corn hole and parachute play.

Art – The children stimulate their creativity with painting, coloring and crafting.  White boards, chalk, and Play Doh are also used.

Bible Lesson – The children will listen to Bible stories and verses, supported by a craft and/or activity.

Music – The children sing, sign, and dance along with playing musical instruments.  Songs that the children have learned at PAW will be included.

Games – The children play board games, group games like Bingo and Charades, and go on treasure hunts.

Our day includes additional outside time and dramatic play time.  The children are able to express themselves through various props and dialogue.
