~Our school year runs from September to May~
Tuition is based on our school calendar. The first full day of school is the Wednesday after Labor Day, and our last day of school is the Thursday before Memorial Day.
Tuition is assessed for the full school year, but a 9-month tuition payment schedule is established for the convenience of parents. There are no changes in the monthly tuition payments due to vacations, inclement weather, holidays, or children’s absences due to illness, academic evaluation, vacations, or personal leave. Salem United Methodist Preschool generally follows the Virginia Beach Public School System’s school calendar.
Monthly tuition payments are due on the 15th of the previous month of attendance (example: September’s tuition is due August 15th). We accept Cash, Check, and PayPal. Checks should be made payable to “SUMP” or “Salem United Methodist Preschool”. PayPal transactions have a $10 Processing Fee.
There is an automatic late charge of $25 on payments submitted after the 15th of the month, and a $25 returned check fee.
Additional fees and/or penalties can be added by the S.U.M.P. School Board.
