Statement of Faith

Salem United Methodist Preschool (S.U.M.P.) has been a direct ministry of Salem United Methodist Church (S.U.M.C.) for over 30 years.  Our school is non-denominational in its teaching, stressing fundamental truths of the Bible that unite all.

Each child learns:

• God is a loving Father who created everything
• The Bible is God’s story of how we make mistakes and God forgives us
• Prayer is talking to our Heavenly Father, God

Our school is comprised of families from many different denominations.  It is important for parents to understand that the spiritual dimensions of our program are important and are central to our philosophy of education.
