Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday 9:30am-12:30pm

 

This program is designed primarily for three different sets of children:

• Children whose birthday misses the VBCPS cutoff date of September 30, with those children turning 4 in October, November or December
• Children whose families have not decided when their child will start Kindergarten
• Parents who would prefer a three-day-per-week program versus a four-day-per-week program. These children will move on to Kindergarten after completion of the Bee-Tweens program

Classes are held three days per week, on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.  This class has up to twelve children with two full-time teachers.  Children must be potty trained to attend the Bee-Tween class.

Program Details:

The curriculum in this classroom is a hybrid of the 3’s and the PreK’s.  It encompasses all of the objectives of the 3’s program, and the majority of the PreK program, but it is not as fast-paced as the PreK program.  The program is flexible enough to address the needs of the younger children while firming up the basic skills of the older children.
